Are you looking to automate some of your workflow with the SOLIDWORKS API but are uncertain of what type of program and what programming language to use? In this session, Keith will explore every advantage and disadvantage of each option while showing you examples of each. In-depth description: This gets nitty gritty into macros, addins, and stand-alones by comparing their performance, security, integration, ease of development, ease of administration, etc. Attendees will understand the pros and cons of not only each program that can be written with the SOLIDWORKS API (macro, add-in, or stand-alone), but also the pros and cons of the languages available for each (VBA, VB.NET, C#, C++).
