Configurations allow you to quickly design and manage different versions of a SOLIDWORKS model in a single document. If you're not careful, though, things can get out of hand. In this presentation, we'll cover what I think are the best applications of configurations, their benefits and drawbacks, and plenty of tips for improving performance. Anthony has been an Application Engineer with GoEngineer (formerly Computer Aided Technology) since July 2019 after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has generally focused on SOLIDWORKS instruction and sales support in his time with the company, though detailed performance testing has been a recent source of interest. Anthony is a Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert in Mechanical Design.
