Session Abstract

NPV Engineering, Inc. is a professional engineering design firm that uses SOLIDWORKS to execute traditional industrial-style projects. Our workflow allows us to fully model Structural, Mechanical, and Piping components to LOD 500. Our clients receive an LOD 500 3D model and a full BOM for the components installed. Some of our models have surpassed 100,000 piping parts. Clients have repeatedly executed projects with change orders of less than 1% during construction. Given Autodesk's prevalence in this space, we think it would be valuable for the SOLIDWORKS community to be aware of our workflow. We have proven that SOLIDWORKS can displace Autodesk in the AEC design industry.
