Session Abstract

We all know the challenge: designs evolve quickly, but manufacturing needs clarity and structure. In this training, you’ll see how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform makes that transition smooth — bringing your CAD designs, bills of materials, and ERP workflows into perfect sync. In this session, you’ll discover how to transform disconnected design and production workflows into a seamless, data-driven process powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We’ll demonstrate how modern manufacturers can connect CAD engineering data directly to shop-floor execution, eliminating silos, improving visibility, and accelerating time-to-production. In this session, you will see how to 1) bring in an assembly from SOLIDWORKS (EBOM) to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, 2) transform the assembly EBOM into a Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) considering Make vs. Buy, 3) prepare and consume the MBOM into Work Plans for ERP, and 4) send the package over the 3DXBridge to the EnterpriseIQ.
