Session Abstract

Here we will chronologically lay out the path that Emerson followed over the course 10+ years to choose and implement SOLIDWORKS as the default CAD software. Also adding SOLIDWORKS PDM, Composer, and Inspection within 2 years of the official implementation. Over 4-million files were migrated over from the legacy system into the SOLIDWORKS PDM environment. From being behind 10 years on our legacy CAD/PLM Software to implementing SOLIDWORKS and upgrading annually, we will share the journey it took.
