Session Abstract

Designing complex antenna systems that meet both performance and regulatory standards can be challenging, especially when multiple antennas share a single PCB. Inovonics developed a security panel integrated LTE, Wi-Fi, and a custom 900 MHz PIFA antenna, leveraging SOLIDWORKS and CST Studio to optimize layout, ground structures, and system behavior while ensuring FCC compliance. This session demonstrates the complete workflow from 3D modeling to advanced electromagnetic simulation, highlighting cross-talk analysis, colocation studies, and embedded compliance validation. Attendees will learn how to improve antenna efficiency, minimize interference, address performance trade-offs early, and streamline development. By integrating simulation directly into the design phase, this approach reduces risk, lowers costs, and ensures products achieve both functional performance and regulatory compliance, providing practical strategies for faster, more reliable product development.
