12833 Mechanical Meltdown is a First Tech Challenge Team (FTC) located in Watkins Glen, NY. This presentation shows how the team used SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE as a complete technology platform for design collaboration on their competition robot. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform was used for concept brainstorming, CAD modeling, prototyping, documentation and building. This project gave the students experience using professional grade software tools. It also helped students understand broad concepts in PLM, design collaboration and cloud apps.
