Topology studies allow users to explore designs focusing on functional requirements while not being constrained to a parametric CAD model. Topology studies performed in SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional, as well as on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform with the Function Driven Generative Designer role, provide users with a unique method to generate the best possible shape of a product without letting traditional design constraints get in the way of creating a fully functional product. The speakers will walk through an example model showing the path to a topology optimized shape in both SOLIDWORKS Simulation and on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
