This presentation is the annual update on benchmarking studies (over 200,000 run to date) which breaks down the major areas of hardware to help understand the impact on SOLIDWORKS performance. Through strong partnerships with hardware suppliers such as Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Dell, Lenovo, & Boxx, we have been able to test trending hardware including, but not limited to, Intel pro processors (with P-cores & E-cores), AMD Threadripper processors, Nvidia Ampere & ADA graphics cards, AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards, and various workstation set-ups. GoEngineer is continuing the rigorous testing that we developed under CATI to understand how much difference engineers can expect from this hardware. We use our proprietary benchmark and datasets so we are able to make direct correlations year over year. Our intent is to educate all SOLIDWORKS users about the importance of hardware selection and the impact this has on overall SOLIDWORKS performance. We will try to answer the question, should I upgrade?
