262_Learn Different Meshing Techniques to Tackle All Simulation Problems

This session will cover both SOLIDWORKS Simulation and 3DEXPERIENCE meshing tools.

During this session we will learn about the three main forms of geometry - bulky, thin and beam - and discuss the best mesh element for each. We will review an example of the mesh in action.

Mesh selection is also dependent on the analysis type and desired outputs. Learn when it is best to use a quad element over a tetrahedral, what mesh elements perform best with different materials, and what to do when looking to understand fracture.

Draft Quality vs High Quality meshes are discussed and why a user would use one or the other.

Lastly a quick look at why convergence is so important to good results.
