1536 - Design for 3D Printing

Kirby Downey's presentation was shown at SLUGME 6 and a number of virtual user group meetings. It aims to help teach users the key differences of the three main technologies of 3D printing as well as some tips on how to design better models, whether they are prototypes or end use products. He uses examples of props and models he has made that are from fan favorites movies and video games, such as an AT-AT model or even a prop that got him a Guinness world record for the world's heaviest prop from a video game.

The final step is some SOLIDWORKS tips on how to improve your file quality and your workflow when saving in SOLIDWORKS.
