This session is mainly focused on hobbyists getting started on their Makers journey. There are three main features of the Makers package: 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, 3D Creator, and 3D Shaper.
Although it sounds like 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS is mostly SOLIDWORKS Pro, and 3D Creator is browser-based CAD, we will explain the benefits of this version and how to use it to get the most out of it. We will focus on: What is the Makers license and what is in the Makers bundle? How the Makers package differs from commercial licenses supported by a local reseller Installation best practices for makers Setting up compatible external devices (like space mouse, Wacom tab) Tips and tricks while sharing Makers file (3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace, exporting files to a neutral format) Inviting other avid DIY people to your Makers tenant/collaborative space (How cross-company collaboration works without consuming your own licenses).
