Presentation of a technical demo showing an OpenGL to Vulkan RayTrace interop inside SOLIDWORKS that can load and manipulate large datasets and show hardware raytracing on a professional AMD graphics card. Vulkan is a low-overhead, cross-platform 3D graphics and computing API following on from OpenGL. Vulkan targets high-performance Realtime 3D graphics and gives lots of performance benefits on newer hardware
