The Quality Management System (QMS) solution integrated into the DELMIAworks ERP system provides the controls required to pass the most stringent customer and regulation auditor requirements. This session will highlight how to leverage some key foundation offerings in order to achieve automated controls, communication, and electronic record tracking. The common production challenge that will be reviewed during this session is the ability to manage questionable products and components. Starting with an MRB, the system will assist with documenting the issue, flagging the quarantined inventory, and managing the workflow process by analyzing the problem to determine the required action items. From there, you can execute the identified action items, such as initiating an ECO to update controlled documentation, or leveraging lot traceability to identify other products with potential related defects. We’ll also review how open quality control issues can be communicated with the production floor.
