Inspection is a vital part of any quality production process. Leveraging the data contained in SOLIDWORKS drawings and models inspection criteria can be quickly gathered & communicated. Using industry standard forms, SOLIDWORKS Inspection automates the process of gathering the important parts for detailed characteristics. This session will show the process of building inspection reports easily from both drawings and models. 

When comparing production components against the engineering and inspection criteria, there is bound to be levels of variation. Measurements from a variety of sources can be read directly into the inspection project like Probe-collected coordinate measurement machines, optical comparison & laser scanning. Variation outside of the acceptable limits can cause problems for the part and the rest of the production process. We’ll look at a couple of ways to start working through issues and get to a resolution quickly.
