This session will focus on sheet metal design using SOLIDWORKS Sheet Metal. This will go a level beyond the standard sheet metal features into manually editing the features and adding secondary operations like welding, coating and captive (PEM) fasteners. The focus is on creating parts that are manufacturable based on industry-standard rules of thumb. I am a designer, not a fabricator, and the presentation will come from that perspective and is geared towards designers.
