Lesson 1: Shop Floor Machining Wizard
In the Shop Floor Machining app, import a SOLIDWORKS part and use the Shop Floor Machining Wizard to program a simple mill path.
Lesson 2: Interactive Feature Recognition
Use Local Feature Recognition to define features. Then pick cutting tools for those features.
Lesson 3: Automatic Feature Recognition
Use Global Feature Recognition, Automatic Hole Search and Automatic Pattern Creation to generate features.
Lesson 4: Multiple Setup Operations
Add another machine to program the operations for side 2 of a part. Create a digital process plan.
Lesson 5: Cutting Tools
Set up cutting tools, tool holders and tool assemblies. Save them to a catalog and apply them to a process.
Lesson 6: Coordinate Systems
Use a coordinate system from SOLIDWORKS to position the part relative to the machine. Simulate machine kinematics.
Lesson 7: Automation
Write and leverage rules to automate the selection of tools and machining processes for features.
Lesson 8: SOLIDWORKS Connected
Save a part from SOLIDWORKS Connected to the platform and open it directly in Shop Floor Machining. Replace the revision of the part in Shop Floor Machining.
