Some of us may be wondering about publishing credits needed in 3DEXCITE Product Communicator.
So here are some pointers.
In short, it's pay as you go.
Roughly, the main drivers are the complexity, resolution, 360-degree sequences, and the quality level as shown below. A single export may cost from \\\$0.3 to \\\$20.
Overall, it’s much cheaper than buying renderings, 360-degree sequences, or videos from agencies, where one deliverable may cost hundreds to even thousands of dollars.
E.g.
- A 1920x1080 high quality image below takes about 4 credits, or around \\\$0.5. The actual cost may deviate a bit from the estimation on the dialog.
- Turning on the Alpha channel doesn’t need more credits necessarily.
- Surprisingly, a 3D glTF file costs similar to a static image. Let's just all use 3D assets then😃. An image is worth a thousand words. In a similar light, a 3D model is worth a thousand images at least. That's the deflationary benefits thanks to technologies.
- Rendering a different scene with a detailed model view costs about 5 credits.
- A ultra-high quality image takes about 9.
- A 4K ultra-high quality image reaches 57.
- A 360 sequence demands more credits because it includes multiple images.
