Module 02 Introduction to APT

In Module 02; we’ll explore the history of APT, or Automatically Programmed Tool, and understand why it’s essential to know this language when working with Cutter Location Files, often called CL Files.


You’ll learn about the structure of Post Processor statements, how they’re used in DELMIA by the NC Programmer, and how they’re interpreted by the post processor.


We’ll also take a closer look at the syntax of APT commands, and discover where these syntax definitions are stored and accessed during the NC programming process.
