The Underground Mine Designer role encompasses the power of parametric design methodology to quickly process, edit and evaluate underground mining designs via the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Firstly, the essence of this role is to generate rapid underground mine designs that conform to industry and safety standards and to have the ability to quickly edit or update these designs when new data becomes available. The role allows for data clarity throughout the entire lifecycle, achieved by establishing associations that will enable for swift integration and propagation of necessary changes without the need for manual intervention. Finally, parametric design enables mining engineers to evaluate different scenarios quickly and efficiently, which saves time and provides additional optionality during the development and production phases.
