Who: This role targets the following types of users: Specification Authors, Packaging Engineers who design product packaging, formulate and define finished products assemblies Raw Material managers: who have to manage all of the engineering, supplier and material information related to raw materials |
How- Manage all the aspects of product specifications, including technical specifications and CAD data, as a unified engineering structure
- Drive the adoption of company part numbering conventions.
- Manage the full definition of Raw Materials and utilize it in the product structure
- Define and manage the "Make From" information for a product
- Manage Manufacturer equivalents for a product to qualify suppliers and make faster supply chain decisions
- Generate product specification reports from structured product information to comply with regulations, and to support manufacturing
