How You can now author and manage both the performance specifications and the characteristics for a product or a raw material: Performance specification: It is a container of similar performance characteristics, such as physical, chemical or microbiological. Performance characteristics: It can be of a: - “measurement” type that follows a standard dimension and units, such as density or viscosity Or - “descriptive” type for other kinds of characteristics such as appearance A performance characteristic has a target, minimum, maximum, specification limits, and additional notes. One or more test methods can be associated with each characteristic to describe the test process, equipment, and related information.. |
