Why

Improved productivity by directly assigning a specific tool to a specific member in the Semiconductor Design Environment

How

  • While defining the Semiconductor Design Environment, you can now use the new Tool Suites field to assign E-CAD tool to the members.

 

New Page for Semiconductor Design Responsibility

Why

Improved productivity with a new 'Semiconductor Design Responsibility' page for understanding stakeholder responsibilities.

How

  • A new My Design Responsibilities command is provided on the Home page to easily view all the design responsibilities assigned to you.

  • For any responsibility assigned to you, you can refer to the Resource URL to locate the work surface configured with a specific design environment.

  • You can use the "Is Sharable" attribute to enable or disable the workspace sharing with other teammates for seamless collaboration.

 

Enhancements in the SWS Commands Scope

Why

Improved efficiency while working in local Linux environment thanks to the enhancements in the SWS command-line feature

How

  • The SWS command-line feature allows you to work in local Linux environment to access and manage the local engineering design and information.

  • You can now use the new sde run command to see all the E-CAD tools setup for your workspace.
  • You can further launch the specific tool using SDE client to begin working in a pre-configured setup
