How   

RFI Creation :

•You can now create and manage Request for Information (RFI) object types in ’RFx Management’ widget.

•You can create RFI from scratch or based on a template.

RFI Questions:

•RFI contains a list of questions which are used to gather information about a product or a service from the suppliers.

•You can create questions:

•Globally – these questions can be reused across RFIs

•Directly in the RFI

•You can configure Question Category Library, in the Setting tab, under Configuration section, to be used for grouping questions per predefined categories.

•Suppliers can respond to the questions using the Supplier Connect Portal.

Improve award decision making by leveraging an intuitive solution for comparing RFx responses

How   

•A new response comparison view is introduced that allows you to easily compare all bids or responses to RFI questions by highlighting differences with target bid / target supplier response.

•You can select any bid / supplier response to be set as a reference to compare.

Why

Improve award decision making through a new Pivot view of  RFQ responses

How   

•A new compare view ‘Pivot View’ is introduced for RFQ compare responses, allowing you to switch from horizontal view to vertical view and display the bids in the columns.

•You can toggle between the default view and the Pivot View using the ‘Pivot View’ icon in the ‘Compare Responses’ toolbar

Why

Improve RFX response quality by associating an attachment at the bid level

How   

As a Supplier User, you can now associate an attachment at each bid level

Why

Improve communication with suppliers by providing the suppliers access to the RFx attachments by default.

How   

•RFx Attachments are now available to suppliers by default

•A new option is introduced, ‘Disable share with Suppliers’ in the attachment menu for selected attachment, that allows you to choose not to share that particular attachment with suppliers.

Why

Improve accuracy in selecting the relevant suppliers to send the RFx to, by identifying the buyer organization responsible for the RFx.

How   

•A new attribute, ‘Legal Entity’ is introduced when creating a new RFx , 
allowing you to select  the buyer entity responsible for this RFx.

•This will filter the list of suppliers that you can add to the RFx, 
showing only suppliers that have relationships with the selected buyer.
