Duplicate Requirements with Advanced Options

Why

Improve flexibility when duplicating requirements by using the Advanced Duplicate option

How     
Advanced Duplicate mode is now available in Requirement Structure Editor application.
When duplicate a requirement specification, you can now specify for each child object if you want to:
  • Duplicate
  • Reuse
  • Exclude

Requirement Content Comparison

Why

Improve decision making by analyzing the differences between requirements through compare option  

How     
You can now compare the content of two different requirements or different revision of the same requirement.
New command, ‘Compare Structure’, is added to the Requirement action bar, under the Lifecycle tab, allowing you to load the selected Requirement object in the Compare widget.
The following panels are displayed in Compare widget, depending on the selected compared objects:
  • Structure Panel – comparison of structures of selected objects
  • Properties Panel – comparison of properties of selected object
  • Content Panel – comparison of content of selected object like text, images, tables etc…

                                                


Open Requirement in Context of its Parent

Why

Improve the understanding of the requirements, by opening the requirements in context

How     
You can now open requirement object in the context of its parent.
When dropping requirement object from any application to ‘Requirement Structure Editor’ widget, you get two options:
  • Add Objects - this will open the dropped object in the application
  • Add objects in context – this will open the dropped object in the context of its parent
