Support of Deformable/Deformed Products

Why

Easily identify “Deformable” and “Deformed” products in the Engineering Definition and prepare for the procurement process

How   

You can identify the “deformability” of the product through a new attribute, that can have one of the following values:

-One or more “deformed” products are linked to the “Deformable” product.

-Use the view “Product Made From” to display the roll up of occurrences for all deformed Engineering Items of the same “Deformable” one, to prepare for the procurement process.

-In index mode, the Enterprise Item Number of the “Deformable” item is also applied to the “Deformed” product(s)

-Ideally, you should not set an Enterprise Item Number (EIN) on the “Deformed” item. The system will not block you from doing so, however a warning message will appear in this case that recommends not to modify the EIN on the “Deformed” object.
