Materials Compliance Assessment on Manufacturer Equivalent Items (MEIs)

Why

Improve compliance assessment of your products by leveraging sourcing information.

How

You can now perform default, Best Case and Worse Case materials compliance assessments on product structure based on material composition defined on the approved Manufacturer Engineering Items (MEIs).

  1. In this example, the Engineering Item (EI) has 3 MEIs , with different compliance status “EU RoHS” regulation

  2. After drag & dropping the EI into Material Compliance Assessment widget, you can visualize the compliance result by default

  3. By clicking on the EU RoHS Current compliance card, users can drill-down in the results and visualize Best and Worst case MEI

A new unconfigured EU POPs Regulation is now available in the Business Activities Definition app, which allows you to perform POP’s compliance assessment on your products in the ‘Materials Compliance Assessment’ app

Improve Materials Compliance Engineering Definition by leveraging and authoring sourcing information coming from suppliers

How

You can now author the compliance status of Manufacturer Equivalent Items (MEIs - supplier’s products) as well as Engineering Items using the Yes/No/Yes with exemptions options within Business Value Definition widget.
