Engineering Exchange Service: Detailed Import Report

Why

Easily find the status of your import by referring to the detailed import report

How     

- You can now download a full report for the import of data through the Engineering Exchange service. The import report can be downloaded from the download link in the Results or the Family tab.

- The downloaded zip file contains short report (Main.json) and other detailed report for every package that as been delivered.

Engineering Exchange Service: Importing stand-alone Documents

How     

- You can now use the Engineering Exchange service to Import stand-alone documents (STEP AP242 XML Format) from external system as 3DEXPERIENCE Document.

Note:

- Events for document creation are not generated when document is created using import.

- The enhancement to support import of standalone documents will only be available in the iPaas mode.

with Exchange Service.

How     

- You can now use the Engineering Exchange service to Import of SolidWorks SLDASM data exported from external system into 3DEXPERIENCE Platform as Unified Product Structure data model

- Links between SDLASM and other files (SLDPRT) is supported.

- Following operations are also supported:

• CREATE: This option can be used when the data is new and to be created in 3DEXPERIENCE
• DELETE: This option can be used when the data has been deleted in external system and should be deleted to in 3DEXPERIENCE
• MODIFY: This option can be used when the data has been modified in external system and should be updated in 3DEXPERIENCE
• NOMODIF: This option can be used when the data has not changed in external system and no operation is expected to be reflected in 3DEXPERIENCE
