What is the Cost Manager role?

The Cost Manager role enables you to manage End-to-End product costs along the product lifecycle from early phases of the program to delivery by allowing users to establish target costs, cost estimates or enter actual costs, manage risks and opportunities to help decision-making and ensure business sustainability.

What are the apps?

Cost Assessment	The Cost Management app enables you to explore a structure under a cost perspective and track any cost-related inconsistency, with the following key capabilities: Check the cost of assemblies, taking configured products into account View parts for which cost is calculated, missing, outdated, or over the threshold values Evaluate risks of cost overrun and opportunities to save on costs.
Business Activities Definition	TheBusiness Activities Definition app allows users to create and manage custom human activities. These activities are actions performed by humans that impact various indicators, such as the environmental footprint. The app enables users to define or modify business values for any item, including physical structures or Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM).
Business Value Definition	TheBusiness Value Definition app allows you to assign human activities to the product or specific part in the product structure. you can define or modify business values for any item, such as a physical structure or EBOM. A human activity is an action done by a human being and that impacts indicators such as the environmental footprint.
Business Target Definition	TheBusiness Target Definition app specifies target objectives for the different weight and center of gravity metrics that you define for a specific component (such as a physical structure or configured product). This app enables you to define or review the targets for key indicators of your top level entity.
