CATIA V5 Material Exposition to the Platform

Why

Expand development flexibility in design and simulation use cases by syncing and mapping CATIA V5 Materials to 3DEXPERIENCE Core Materials

How

You can now save and synchronize your CATIA V5 Materials defined in parts and assemblies to the Engineering Items within the product structure.
Materials applied on the root node, or on V5 Part body will be saved to the platform.

Note:

Materials applied on V5 Product references or on V5 Part instances will not be saved to the platform.

This capability is not yet available in “Design with CATIA V5 Extension mode”
