Import Data from Altium Database Libraries |

Why Streamline access to thousands of existing components available in database Libraries |
How You can now import electronic components together with their symbols and footprints from Altium database libraries (*.DBLib) to support data migration from Altium to the platform. The tables within the database libraries are selectable to allow only loading of specific content. Parameters and classification data within the libraries can be mapped to the platform.

Why Improved control of Change Action content and state during your ECAD session |
How You can now access the “Work Under” command directly from the Altium menu. Once selected, the active state is shown as a highlight of the command itself. The state of the Change Action can be toggled at any time during the ECAD session.

Why Improved control of component geometry through direct management within the Electronic Component Editor |
How You can now explicitly handle the 3DPackageWrap in the Electronic Component Editor to manually select geometry either from an attached footprint, external file or from 3DEXPERIENCE. The 3DPackageWrap will behave similar to other ECAD components. NOTE that the 3DPackageWrap will no longer be automatically determined by the integrations during the Save operation. |
New Library and Bookmark Selector Panel |

How You now will use simplified prompt panels on Save for the Library and Bookmark selectors. The Bookmark selector is in Edit mode to allow you to create bookmarks through this prompt. The Library selector is started in read-only mode, as it is not allowed to create any new libraries.

How You can now create the manufacturing outputs for review and changes before executing the actual Save to 3DEXPERIENCE operation. This enhancement is in addition to the existing automatic creation on Save to 3DEXPERIENCE operation. You can review the data and make changes to it to assure that the data is correct before Saving to the platform. |
