Classification Manager (CCM) - R2024x FD02

New enhancement in this release:

New Usage of Library - Categorization Library

Why

Classify validated data through Categorization library and classes

How

•Two usages of Classification Libraries and Classes are now available:

•Definition Library – contributes to the definition of the classified data

•Categorization Library (new usage) – add information on top of the definition of the classified data

•In case an object is classified in a Definition class:

•You need Edit access on the data to classify / declassify and modify classification attribute values, as the classification is part of the object definition.

•When duplicating / branching or revising a classified data, the duplicated / revised object is automatically classified in the same definition class (with the same attributes values)

•In case an object is classified in Categorization class:

•You need only Read access on the data to classify / declassify and modify classification attribute values.

•When duplicating / branching or revising a classified data, the duplicated / revised object is NOT automatically classified in the same class. It is up to the user to determine if the new object qualifies to the same class and what should be the attributes values once classified.

Note:

The new Categorization Library is only available for authoring in the ‘IP Classification Editor’ widget
