This error occurs because of an incomplete reinstallation of DraftSight®.
To troubleshoot the error, use the Windows® Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter to completely uninstall all versions of the DraftSight® software.
- Visit the following link from the Microsoft® website:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall
- Click Download troubleshooter.
- Open the download file to run the troubleshooter.
- Click Uninstall.
- On the program selection page, select DraftSight and follow the prompts to complete the uninstall process.
- Reinstall the DraftSight® software.
