If a user wants to upload multiple DWG files from their local drive to the platform and have them treated as proper Drawing object , they can use the BATCHSAVETO3DEXPERIENCE command in DraftSight.

What this command allows:

• Upload multiple DWG files at once to 3DSPACE
• Automatically create the files as Drawing objects
• Generate preview thumbnails (since files are saved from DraftSight)
• Link uploaded files to a Bookmark
• Allows opening DWG file using “Open With” >Design with DraftSight functionality directly from the bookmark editor

How to access BATCHSAVETO3DEXPERIENCE?
Start DraftSight and type: BATCHSAVETO3DEXPERIENCE
This will open Batch Save to 3DEXPERIENCE: Options window. In this window select:

• Folder containing DWG files to upload\\Save
• Choose correct collaborative space
• Choose the bookmark

• Click Save

  *The command also checks for duplicate DWG files and allows user to rename files.
