Context

In piping the Branch rule table allows to controle how a pipe to pipe segment connection will be realized depending on the nature of the Run (header) pipe and the branch pipe.

Branch rule tables are part of the Piping Specification definition

We are going to have a look to pipe to pipe connection without intermediate part meaning that the connection is realize with a weld.

we will talk later about all the other case where the connection is realize with an extra part like an Olet or with a Tee
