Port Creation

Very important : No system Type usage

In schematic application, when creatin Port , we don't want to associate to them a System type. System types are incompatible with Schematic

System types are objects used in system architecture. each time you connect an object to a Port that has a system type, the system type is copy on the port of this object  ; which means tha tit modify this object

To avoid this behavior a setting must be deactivated

Port Position

It is recommended to lock the Port Point position inside the symbol to avoid having user changing it by mistake.

There is one exception to this , it is for Tanks or tower where , as a librarina, you want to allow the user to be able to adjust the port position.

• But even in this caseyou maybe don't know in advance how many port you will have on the symbol so the user will place it as Duplication all the time to be able to change it definition. Then user will set the port position as he want inside the symbol editor
