• Instruments are also "Logical Piping Instrument"

Ports are :

• For instrument signal connection 
  • “Logical port” (ICPort1, ...)
  • flow direction = "NoDirection"
• for connection between instrument & Equipment, Piping Component or Process line 
  • "Piping Port" (Port1, ....)
  • flow direction = "InOut" or "In"
• for Actuator port conencted to valve 
  • "Piping port" (APort1,...)
