Defines and optimize the design of ship accommodations including wall, ceiling, deck coverings, interior design in the context of all other disciplines
The CATIA Accommodation Designer role targets the processes that come after the design of the structure is complete, to make a given space usable by human beings. This includes:
Insulation design to make it bearable, or even livable for its occupants.
Room design to make it functionally usable.
As insulation and rooms are usually made of pre-made components, the main deliverable is a report that lists their quantities for procurement purposes.
Short Description:
Supporting the complete engineering of compartment spaces, layout and design
Preparation of the space for arrangement purposes, including living quarters and equipment rooms.
Definition of the insulation of a metallic structure to avoid heat loss and condensation.
Fast and accurate detailed design through usage of parametric templates
