On October 24 we did our first edition of CATIA Discovery Day & Framtidsmodellen Live networking event. We combined our CATIA conference, where we shared news and insights about our CATIA Creative Design & Styling and engineering solutions and our vision of how to overcome silos and collaborate between design & engineering departments, with the Framtidsmodellen Live networking event. The success surprised us! Sweden was waiting for CATIA to come back! 😊We were delighted to welcome 134 participants at the Clarion Hotel The Pier in Gothenburg! 🚀

We kicked off the conference with a keynote addressed by @ZT from VOLVO, who spoke about Volvo's evaluation of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and @FA from Dassault Systèmes, who gave us an outlook about how CATIA will change the future for design & engineering working together and implementing new workflows. Before the break, @DP and @TB showed us how Visual Scripting improves the work of both designers and engineers. And @MA showed us the benefits of VR for Decision Making.

After lunch, we broke out into two separate tracks for design & engineering, where our experts shared a deep dive with live demos into the newest CATIA solutions. You can see some of the presentations below.

A great event deserves an excellent finish! After the conference, we walked together to the Kooperativet, where the party was already waiting to start. With burgers, buns, and beers 🍔🍺, we enjoyed a great keynote speaker (Stefan Hyttfors), nice music, and great conversations.
