You can add Custom Commands in your Action Pad to simplify the user interface and to make more accessible commands to none user experts

This is very useful for Generic EKL Actions that you want to use very often, each time you have a new project.

This is how to do it:

Create in a Product a Knowledge Engineering Specification and Create inside your EKL Actions

In the Data Setup, under  "Knowledge Resources"  create a new Knowledge Resource Table if you don't have any

Open it and add inside it Add a new Resource

Give it a Logical Name, a Type and select the Knowledge Engineering Specification in which it is stored

Do a right Click to Add a Create a new command on this Action

Deploy your Resource Set to the desired Collab  Space and Save

Than switch to the App in which you want to have access to this Command and go to the "Customize" menu

Under the "Commands" Tab and in Project Resource you should see your command:.

you can assign it an icon

At this point you probably need to restart your CATIA session and go back to the Customize Panel

This time switch to the "Action Pad" Tab and Add you command. you will find it in the Commands List
