Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Insight for Excel 2024.

Enhancements

This release of BIOVIA Insight for Excel includes the following enhancements:

ESDX-5070 - If Insight for Excel fails to load calppimp.dll relevant error message is displayed specifying the exact cause for the failure.

ESDX-6017 - User is warned if any existing data is going to be overwritten while transferring data from SearchBrowse.

ESDX-4394 - Insight for Excel server pack may be installed on a Pipeline Pilot 2024 server running on ScienceCloud when this becomes available.

Fixed Defects

This release of Insight for Excel contains the following fixed defects:

ESDX-6236 - Additional Chemistry column data (cell names) are preserved.

ESDX-3651 - MUL group not expanded post Markush enumeration.

ESDX-5652 - Reagents are better depicted.

ESDX-5938 - Fixed a depiction issue of sequences with expanded residues when the class of the expanded residue (AA, dAA, ...) was different from the previous contracted residues in the chain.

ESDX-6127 - Improved display of atom and bond labels containing both stereo type (abs, and, or).

ESDX-6144 - Setting highlight working as expected.

ESDX-6171 - Removed distinction between period and comma handling for English and German language. log 7.4 in English language and log 7,4 in German are treated equal.

ESDX-6177 - Numerical data is identified correctly.

ESDX-6190 - Data column containing date is identified correctly.
