Enhancements
This release of BIOVIA Foundation includes the following enhancements.
User Story | Description
DAT-21183 | Enabled sorting and filtering on lifecycle policy column in Task Planner and widgets.
DAT-12319 | Generic activity tasks can now transition to completed and released lifecycle states. Additionally, Generic activity tasks can be swapped for a method-specific activity before executing in Capture Hub.
DAT-17978 | Revert buttons added to transition disposed samples back to collected lifecycle state and to transition abandoned tasks back to Draft/In Progress.
DAT-19451 | Signature Policy enhanced to specify a group when the signer is Current User. When a group is set, it means the signer must be the current user and a member of that group.
DAT-19802 | Added the ability to set a signature policy on the Active -> Upgrading lifecycle action in the Equipment lifecycle.
DAT-20353 | Added the ability to define extended properties for equipment instances based upon their class.
DAT-20639 | Added internationalization support (language files) for Korean, Japanese, and French.
DAT-20650 | Relationship button added to manage associations between two tasks. System uses these relationship fields to when creating retest and review tasks. Lab Analyst can use these fields to define other relationships.
DAT-20857 | Task Plan info card now displays the lifecycle status property.
DAT-20971 | Hub configuration switch added to ensure unique names for Activities and Activity Plans.
DAT-21438 | Confirmation dialogs added to the task abandoned, task recall, and sample return buttons.
DAT-21440 | Titlebar above grids in Task Planner and widgets now displays 'filtered' when the grid is not displaying all the records.
DAT-21449 | Relocated the abandon and delete buttons in Task Planner.
DAT-21485 | Upgraded the Hub service to a newer release of AdoptOpenJDK 8.
DAT-21489 | Upgraded the Hub service to a newer release of Apache Tomcat 8.5.
DAT-21626 | Duration (hours) field added to the Activity page.
DAT-21663 | Hub configuration switch added to view data across Collaborative Spaces from our widgets.
DAT-21728 | Populated the relationship fields for existing retest and review tasks.
SEC-6879 | The system now ensures the correct equipment is used during the execution of a metrology task. The selected equipment is pre-populated in the task and the Capture session and cannot be changed.
SEC-7023 | A series of checks are performed when migrating activities or equipment before the content is imported into the system. The activities/equipment and their dependencies are analyzed and compared to what exists on the target system. The results are reported to the administrator in the import dialog. The information can then be used to guide resolution of any conflicts: keep the existing information on the target or use the source information.
SEC-7026 | It is now possible to migrate one or more procedure activities into a Hub + Compose deployment. This includes importing the recipe into Compose.
SEC-7027 | A new Migrations page has been added to Admin & Settings. Administrators with the Foudation/View Import and Foundation/Manage Import permissions can use this page to migrate content into their system. The page allows the administrator to select a file to import, then analyzes the content against the content already in the target system, and enables the administrator to resolve conflicts that are found. The administrator can then start the import of that content.
SEC-7028 | It is now possible to export one or more activities or equipment. Administrators with the Foundation/Manage Export permission will see a new export button on the toolbar of the Activities and Equipment pages that will start the export of all selected activities or equipment and their dependencies (including recipes of procedure activities).
SEC-7029 | It is now possible to export procedure activities and their dependencies (including the Compose recipe).
SEC-7030 | Procedure activities can now be migrated into a Hub that does not have a Compose installation. These activities can be used to create and execute tasks in Hub Capture.
SEC-7090 | Two new signature policies (Export Data and Import Data) were added and control the signing requirements of the export and import (migration) features, respectively. The signature policies can be edited to meet the customer's specific requirements.
SEC-7317 | An administrator with Foundation/Manage Export permission can export one or more equipment records along with all dependencies (data packets, class readings, equipment type, equipment class, etc.)
SEC-7344 | A new application setting was added that controls whether metrologists are allowed to override the next due date for a metrology event. The setting, "Enable Metrology Due Date Override" is found in the Equipment section of the Foundation Hub Application Settings.
When enabled, an extra field appears on the metrology card in Admin & Settings: Override Next Due Date. The metrologist picks the next due date for that event and the logbook is updated with a comment stating the next due date was manually set.
SEC-7345 | Metrology tasks now include the equipment name and the metrology event name in the Task Name property.
SEC-7369 | The default administrator account (scitegicadmin) no longer has a preset password. Instead, a password must be assigned to this account during configuration after initial installation of Hub.
SEC-7474 | The user’s ability to edit the Materials List is now controlled by the Task Plan’s Collaborative Space.
SEC-7476 | The integration gateway configuration is now part of the Hub upgrade process.
SEC-7538 | File uploads are now limited to a preconfigured set of file extensions for better security. This affects adding a file in Compose during recipe authoring, uploading a file on the Data Preview page, uploading a file into an Observation in Capture, and uploading a file into a Task Plan file parameter.
The default list of allowed file extensions is: txt, pdf, xls, xlsx, doc, docx, csv, jpg, png, zip, tmp. The list may be configured in the Hub application setting: Allowed File Extensions.
SEC-7545 | Groups, users, custom lifecycle policies, and Pipeline Pilot protocols are not migrated. They are, however, tracked in the export and will be checked against the target environment for corresponding items. If found, the import can proceed and the incoming content will be re-linked to the existing groups, users, custom lifecycle policies, and Pipeline Pilot protocols, If they do not exist, the administrator can create them and try the migration again.
SEC-7552 | REST API added to extract all the materials, including PEX materials, used in a Task Plan.
SEC-7632 | Superseded and withdrawn activities are no longer shown in the equipment event type selection list to help avoid selecting the wrong activity.
SEC-7637 | Re-organized the Equipment UI links in Admin & Settings to improve their usability.
SEC-7691 | A pre-configured client gateway for the Data Center location is now included with Hub by default.
