We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Foundation 2021 SP1 HF2 which includes the following enhancements and fixed defects:
Enhancements
This release of BIOVIA Foundation includes the following enhancements.
User Story | Description |
SEC-6466 | The Integration Gateway application is now delivered with Hub. |
SEC-6485 | During installation, the Integration Gateway application is registered with Hub. |
SEC-6837 | File-based equipment configured with a Gateway Location will be processed by the Integration Gateway. It will not be part of the File Crawler jobs run by Hub. |
SEC-6951 | The Integration Gateway creates logbook entries for the equipment it processes that are equivalent to the entries made by Hub. |
SEC-7011 | TCP/IP communication between a client gateway and a direct-connect equipment can be encrypted. Configuration of this feature is documented in the Equipment Guide. |
Fixed Defects
This release of BIOVIA Foundation includes the following fixed defects.

SEC-7636 | Fixed a problem that caused the "Restart Server" button on the Hub Configuration page to fail. |
