Program BIOVIA Compose and CaptureDescription We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Compose and Capture 2021 Hot Fix 1, which includes the following:Enhancements CAPT-3093 - Many issues have been addressed that made tablet usage less pleasant with Capture Hub. CAPT-4509 - Before bringing data into a session, a user of file-based or adapter equipment will be warned whether the equipment producing that data has any warnings, and must sign if policies apply. CAPT-4841 - Users are able to review Metrology Exception and GMP Equipment signature events by expanding the Equipment card in Capture Hub, and Reviewers are alerted if such events exist. CAPT-4893 - Recipe author can mark parameters as hidden from the Capture user. Such parameters might be employed to simplify calculations, or to communicate into the execution. These parameters can be set as input parameters in the Task Plan, and can be displayed in the instructions if used in phrasing, but they will not be displayed in the parameters grid. CAPT-5117 - Capture Hub allows both data preview and collecting from other types of equipment if a parameter is mapped to a reading from a class of equipment that has both file-/adapter-based and direct or non-connected equipment. CAPT-5236 - When a parameter mapped to equipment is manually overridden, the data collection is now associated with the selected equipment, and a Manual Entry event is added to the equipment's logbook. CAPT-5254 - The author can designate whether a new batch of material should be registered to CISPro with a status of "Requires Approval" = Yes. Capture Hub carries this information to CISPro and respects the setting. CAPT-5468 - Various minor changes have improved the experience of using Capture Hub on a touchscreen. CAPT-5537 - Authors can now map parameters to Hub Extended Properties so that their values will be written to CISPro's Container and ReceiptLot Custom Properties at time of material lot registration. PROP-9473 - It is now possible to update parameters in place within the recipe when the parameter template has been edited and approved. It is no longer necessary to remove the parameter, and then add the new version back in. This saves much effort, especially when a parameter is used in expressions or contains an expression. PROP-9662 - Compose and classic Capture now offer multi-select for filtering lifecycle states of recipes displayed on the Recent Sessions list (home page). A default filter is provided that displays Draft, Submitted, and Approved recipes for Compose. PROP-9903 - A new endOfDay() is provided ** which calculates the end of day (23:59:59) for any date/time provided. This should be particularly convenient for calculating and displaying some expiration dates for materials and for equipment maintenance procedures. PROP-9923 - When publishing a recipe, the author is now informed of the collaborative space to which the recipe will be published, and the lifecycle policy that will apply to the published activity. PROP-9980 - The Recipe creation dialog box now sets "Execute in Capture Hub" by default. Fixed Defects CAPT-4771- Rendering has been improved for narrower browser sizes. CAPT-5017- For validity audits, the display name was updated to signify this was created via setting validity. CAPT-5245- Fixed an issue in which the Capture Hub PUT API did not validate vocabulary entries and units, thus allowing unrelated or invalid values to be set via PLP protocol. CAPT-5295- An Equipment instance with the same Equipment Type as the mapped Equipment instance can be added via the Data Acquisition page, and will be displayed in the Equipment Card on the Capture Hub page. CAPT-5314- · The Manual Override indicator is now shown in the grid for cleared values of non-Manual Entry parameters. Clearing a row now only requires a manual override signature if it includes non-Manual Entry parameters. · When the Manual Override signature policy is set to Full Block it is now possible to select "Clear Row" if that row includes Manual Entry parameters, but only Manual Entry parameters will be cleared. CAPT-5342- More info is now shown during registration to help differentiate when vendor identities are degenerate. CAPT-5351- Clarified what HTML is supported in recipes for instructions, notes, and cautions. CAPT-5358- The Material name in the Capture Hub materials card now matches the name in the Compose recipe. CAPT-5369- Fixed an issue in which quantities containing constants for their numeric components would fail. CAPT-5421- For material amount parameters in Review, the Expired Material and Material Substitution signature filters now include the Reason Code "No Signature Required." CAPT-5427- Fixed an issue in which the audit trail for materials was not displaying properly on the report. CAPT-5437- The grid rendering has been updated to properly display all of the readings for a measurement, regardless of when the samples are loaded. CAPT-5443- Updated the data preview error messages to better signify which mapped sample reading updates have failed. CAPT-5445- When equipment of the expected type is added and removed before usage, the Metrology Exception signature for the removal action is now recorded correctly. Pre-2021 HF1 data for this scenario remains broken. CAPT-5449- Fixed an issue in which, for parameters mapped to collect values from equipment where commands return multiple readings, the returned value may not be as expected. Now, if a command returns multiple readings, the software will: 1) First choose the reading that matches with the step parameter's planned unit. 2) If not found, choose other readings with units that fall under the parameter's value constraints. CAPT-5451- Fixed an issue in Capture Hub in which the minus operator erroneously conducted addition with complex right-hand operands. CAPT-5504- Abandoning an "In Progress" execution now abandons its associated tasks. CAPT-5548- When multiple values are collected simultaneously and all required data is provided, the Data Entry signature is now required in order to mark sample as Done. CAPT-5559- Fixed an issue in which UI display issues would occur if attempting to display Capture Hub with setting ?nohead = true, as would be required for use in Workbook or on the Platform. CAPT-5562- Recollecting on a DA step will now correctly overwrite the existing data, instead of adding rows and merging the data. CAPT-5592- Grid view no longer shows an erroneous error message that the file failed to upload after uploading an optional file. CAPT-5609- Users are now appropriately warned if information about a container cannot be refreshed from inventory. CAPT-5634- The Lot number is now shown correctly in Review when a material is used in more than one step. CAPT-5637- Fixed an issue in which the limit evaluation for micro to milli was not precise for the Raw Display Method. CAPT-5639- Fixed an issue in which, when the Container ID is entered in lower case, Review was not displaying the supporting data Container ID as Link. CAPT-5652- Material names are now being reflected properly in instructions. CAPT-5701- Classic Capture: An issue was fixed in which clicking Back from the Review page was navigating to the Compose recent page instead of returning to the Capture Execution. PROP-8558- The Parameter Card is now respecting the Display Method set to Raw when Planned Value Exists = False. PROP-10011- Report is now available to Capture whether or not the original report has been removed. PROP-10018- Fixed an issue in which NaN (not a number) values, such as the result of 1/0, was not displaying properly during authoring of expressions. PROP-10029- Fixed an issue in which parameters could not be mapped to equipment unless "planned value exists" had first been checked. PROP-10037- Fixed an issue that prevented selection of Register disposition when mapping parameters for which the planned value exists option had not been checked. PROP-10044- Material phrasing now works for recipe instructions when a material is added with or without a mapped parameter. PROP-10059- Fixed an issue in which by withdrawing, reinstating, then withdrawing again, it was possible to use a withdrawn PET in Compose. PROP-10062- Corrected a confusing reference to a global in the reporting protocol. PROP-10067- Fixed an issue in which the HalfUpNoPadding formatting method would report improperly limited precision by stripping properly entered or collected trailing zeroes. PROP-10082- Minimized parameter bars now include information for the author about mapping, where relevant. PROP-10086- Fixed an issue in which the author was Unable to Map Sample Properties to a Parameter without first checking Planned value Exists. PROP-10106- Fixed an issue in which some naming conventions for custom inventory properties were not supported. PROP-10111- Fixed an issue in which, when adding many rows of equipment or materials during authoring at the recipe level, the rows could become un-editable. PROP-10134- Changing the order of steps for a recipe no longer breaks summary functions that use parameters on the re-ordered steps. PROP-10135- Recipe save is no longer blocked when parameters references in a future parallel block are found. Rather, the author is provided a warning that this may not function properly. PROP-10136- Fixed an issue in which, for Parameters with a Numeric Value Type, user was unable to save changes to the recipe Display Method if the Planned Value Exists box was not checked.
