Program BIOVIA Compose and CaptureDescription We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Compose and Capture 2020 HF2, which includes the following: New Features Capture Hub – a new architecture and user interface for Capture, providing many benefits to the user, especially:
CAPT-2196: Planned value limits can be defined using expressions and actual values are evaluated against these limits during Capture Hub recipe executions. CAPT-2382: Capture Hub users can change the lifecycle state at any time during a recipe execution. CAPT-2466: Capture Hub users can abandon an action, operation, or stage step that does not contain samples. CAPT-2787: Compose authors can use sample properties from Foundation Hub to better support calculations and reporting in Capture Hub recipe executions. CAPT-2831: Capture Hub users can run a report based on the outcome of a recipe execution. CAPT-2853: Capture Hub users can tailor their workflow for multiple samples to match their laboratory processes. For example:
CAPT-2875: In Capture Hub, planned value calculations in the instructions phrasing are updated as a user navigates the Parameters card and collects data. CAPT-3011: Capture Hub users can add materials from more than one container to an execution step (dispensing, weighing, charging) and see a running total of the material amount. CAPT-3018: Capture Hub users can scan a container barcode to import relevant information from the inventory system about the container and its contents. Warning messages are displayed if the material is incorrect or is expired. CAPT-3313: Capture Hub enforces permissions that allow a user to open and execute a task, open and view a task as read-only, or not open a task at all. CAPT-3554: Capture Hub users can fill down values in a data collection grid to speed up data entry and reduce errors. CAPT-3824: Capture Hub supports summary calculations that include parameters from inactive steps. CAPT-3995: Capture Hub online help is now included in the Foundation Hub online help, which is available from the recipe execution. The help also describes differences between Capture Hub and previous versions of Classic Capture. The Capture Hub User Guide is available in PDF format in the Foundation documentation.zip file. Fixed Defects CAPT-2236: Calculated values are displayed correctly in Capture Hub recipe executions. CAPT-3935: When Percent Threshold is an expression and its value is not yet calculated and saved, a report can be generated and the recipe execution can be viewed in Review. CAPT-3858: Review now shows the sample name and sample ID. CAPT-3863: In Capture Hub, the planned value for a parameter is correctly updated when it is calculated from values collected on the same step. CAPT-3871: Capture Hub users can complete steps without samples after returning to previous steps to complete additional samples. CAPT-3939: Review can load Master recipes with samples. CAPT-3990: When a parent step is inactive, its child steps are also inactive. CAPT-4006: Capture users can expand the Instructions tab when using a touch screen device. CAPT-4031: Activation conditions now evaluate as expected in Capture Hub. PROP-6441: The field in the Equipment List which contains the "Description" data from the hub is now properly labeled as "Description." It was previously labeled "Notes." PROP-8488: Fixed a performance issue in which the time to Expand All or Collapse All would take between 9 and 23 seconds if the Process Stage contained many parameters. PROP-8937: Fixed an issue in which summary functions containing regular expressions did not display the correct value in the Expression Editor Preview in some cases. PROP-8999: Fixed an issue in which expressions were not being re-numbered after some drag-and-drop actions. PROP-9247: Materials added during execution no longer appear in Recipe clones. PROP-9257: In the Compose Report, the Step Materials Table now shows the instrument the Material was collected from. PROP-9258: Fixed an issue in which, in rare circumstances, a Master Recipe is added to the Process Toolbox/Process Library rather than the Recipe Library. PROP-9272: In the Manage View, it is now possible to do an initial save when a new Process Element Template contains Summary Parameter Calculations. PROP-9292: Trailing zeroes now persist in tolerance fields within the Process Element Template editor. PROP-9297: Material Mappings are now cloned correctly when the Process Element containing the Material Mapping is cloned. PROP-9442: The Unit Types cache is now utilized when adding quantity parameters to a stage which improves performance. PROP-9493: The Ansible scripts now successfully generate a Compose IQ JSON report regardless of installation success.
