- Accelerate design of buildings with new building design features including levels, walls, and slabs
- Reduce modeling effort of rebar structures with a new User Interface and automatic overlap computation when splitting rebar layers
- Decreased design cycle times though improved performance when using texture maps on large terrain data
The Building & Civil Design application functionality is greatly extended with the addition of 3 new features: Levels, Walls and Slabs A new Level feature can be used to support building model stories A new Slab feature and hole in slab feature can be used to represent low level of detail slab volumes New Wall features are packed with functionality including top and bottom support planes, object types and priority to resolve corner intersections Wall openings simplify the creation of creating holes in walls Object Types can be attached to walls and automatically instantiate a UDF feature with the wall as support. If the Object Type contains an Engineering Template, with the Change LOD command the template can also be automatically instantiated
