Client Column Customization - Widget instance persistency
Previously , Search Column customizations were global to a dashboard so that a widget instance Settings was overloaded by a modification on another widget instance settings.....
With this highlight we persist specifically the settings for each widget instance
3DSearch DataGrid : Persist Interactive User Column modification
Enhancement will permit to save any dynamic E/U interaction with datagrid including:
- Column width updates
- Pin status
- Visibility status
- Sort column order
When E/U will bring some updates on datagrid in widget A, then, these ones will be stored into widget preference but will not be applied to component in widget B.
Updates stored into widget A and widget B will be able to be retrieved cross browsers/devices
Limitation : Transient Search widget and Compass Search Widget configuration won't be persisted.
3DSearch DataGrid : Use same sort service in 6w as standard Search
Initially, when searching on “My content”, the customer obtains results that are sorted by Relevance. He has to change the sorting or tag an “all” view to find the items that interest him.
This function allows users to display the same search result in any grouping view by applying the sort defined in the “global view”.
New Search Dropdown - Standard Search
The function will introduce a new search dropdown for all users on both Web and Native platforms. The "Search only in title" feature has been added, which will perform a search based solely on the titles of the results.
Following below points for search in title only behavior:
- Default status of checkbox is unchecked
- Session will not be maintained in the cache i.e across the session
- Search in title only applies only to the main search
- Incontext mode will not show search in title only
- Favorite search, My content, Advanced search will not have any impact on search in title only.
