This is our first attempt at using the Workgroups PDM. We have 3 seats of Solidworks 2014. One each of standard, professional and Premium. Our "Out of house" IT company installed Workgroups PDM on a server. According to the IT company the standard version is not supported by Workgroups PDM. Is this true?

If it is not true, how can I guide them to what they will need to make the standard version work with the new vault.

The company I work for did not re-up our solidworks subscription so no VAR help.
