Hello,

I am trying to model a spiral wire reinforced hydraulic hose similar to the one in the attachment. I was looking to model it in Solidworks and analyse using Ansys.

• Does anyone have any prior experience in modelling hoses?
• Is there any specific software recommendable for hoses rather than these generic softwares?
• Also, if possible, can anyone with prior experience give any tips on how to proceed about it? I am starting from zero here.
