Why not to use Meter In flow control circuit in pneumatic system ?? Why always Meter out circuits are preferred for flow control of Pneumatic system ?? however both meter in & meter out are easily accepted for a hydraulic design??

Dear Friends,

I don't now if I have to post this in Solidworks forums.

I am an intermediate Design Engineer (You can consider me a fresh entry as well that doesn't matter)

My guess is

1)pressure drop at the inlet may not go well with a pneumatic system.

2)Lubricated air , if regulated at the entry to cylinder may rise temperature of the system

3)or it may rise upstream pressure and we may need extra bleed off valve at the entry

But I don,t want to rely on guessing

Can anybody who is regularly into pneumatic design can help me with this basic doubt

Regards,

Nikhil

Thanks in advance
